La ciudad de Jerez cuenta con atractivos turísticos mundialmente famosos que hacen de nuestra ciudad uno de los destinos más interesantes de toda Andalucía. La ciudad es conocida mundialmente por el Caballo, los Vinos y Brandys y por el Flamenco. Jerez ofrece numerosas ofertas turísticas: espectáculos ecuestres en la Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre y la Yeguada Hierro del Bocado, visita de las innumerables bodegas de Jerez, donde se aprende como el vino y brandy se crían y envejecen para llegar a ser mundialmente afamados, el disfrute del flamenco más puro al ser esta ciudad cuna de un gran número de cantaores y bailaores, su centro antiguo, declarado como Conjunto Monumental Histórico-Artístico, donde iglesias, palacios y edificios emblemáticos nos muestran el esplendor de la ciudad, son también numerosos los museos donde el Toro, el Caballo, el Flamenco, el Traje Corto, los Carruajes y Enganches, la Arqueología y el Vino, toman protagonismo de nuestra tradición y herencia. Otros atractivos de interés son el Circuito de Velocidad, el monasterio de la Cartuja que es el monumento más relevante de toda la provincia y el Zoobotánico de Jerez donde niños y mayores pueden disfrutar de un lugar excepcional y de una de las colecciones zoológicas más completas de España. También es de destacar para visitar la ciudad las fechas de Semana Santa, Feria del Caballo en mayo, fiestas de otoño y vendimia entre finales de septiembre y principio de octubre o las fechas del festival flamenco desde finales de febrero a mediados de marzo. Por último también reseñar la privilegiada situación geográfica de Jerez, entre sierra y mar, lo que posibilita desde Jerez como centro, realizar numerosas excursiones y visitas a distintas localidades de la provincia a través de las distintas rutas establecidas: Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos, en dónde pueden alojarse en otro de nuestros hoteles (Hotel Marqués de Torresoto) situado en un lugar envidiable en Arcos de la Frontera, Ruta del Toro, Ruta del Vino o Ruta de la Costa, etc. La playa se encuentra sólo a 15 minutos en coche. |

The city of Jerez has many turistic attractions famous worldwide that make our city one of the most interesting destiny of Andalucia. The city is known worldwide for it´s horses, the wines and brandy, and for the flamenco. Jerez has many turistic offers: equestrian shows at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and the Yeguada Hierro del Bocado, visits to the numerous bodegas of Jerez, where you learn how wine and brandy is made so they are famously know all over the world, enjoying pure flamenco because this is the home of many famous dancers and singers, it´s historic center declared historic-artistic monumental, where you see church´s, palaces, and emblematic buildings which show us the splendor of the city, there are also numerous museums where the bull, the horse, the flamenco, the traje corto, the Carriages and Hookings, the arqueology and the wine take an important place in our tradition and Inheritance. Other atractive places are the race tracks, the Cartuja Monestary which is the most relevant monoument of all the province and the Botanic Zoo of Jerez where children and adults can enjoy of an exceptional place and of a collection of zoological animals one of the most complete in Spain. Also stand out the most important dates to visit are Holy week, Horse Fair in May, the autumn festival between September and October and the Flamenco festival between February and March. At last we also want to outline the privileged geographical situation of Jerez, between the hills and the sea, which makes it possible Jerez as the center, to realize numerous excursions and visits to different localities of the province across the different established routes: Route of the White Villages, where they can lodge at another one of our hotels (Hotel Marquess of Torresoto) placed in an enviable place at Arcos de la Frontera, Route of the Bull, Route of the Wine or Route of the Coast, etc. The beach is only to 15 minutes in car. |
